DIY GOLD SPRAY PAINTED ANTLERS - WHY NOT?

Hi there!

So, you might have picked up on my love of gold spray paint by now, yes? I love it all...brushed, metallic, hammered. It's all good.

Well I have recently discovered something else that makes me strangely happy...antlers. Yep.

A couple of months ago I randomly decided that I wanted some antlers to do something to at some point (yes our basement is full of the most random stuff - hoarders style). I hunted down a set from a friend, and they have just sat unattended to ever since.

A couple of weeks ago I had the desire to spray paint them brushed gold...because why not?

After the paint dried I was too exhausted to find them a styled home on a shelf, so I sat them on our kitchen table until I was ready to arrange them. Well, I kinda just fell in love with them right where they were.

They put off an artistic, sculptural feel for me, and I just really enjoy them.

What do you think?

I'm curious...am I crazy or do you sorta see the beauty that I see in these bad boys? :)
