DIY HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS // ON A BUDGET

As you might have read yesterday, I'm so ahead of schedule on the gifting this year. This never happens, so I'm keeping the trend going. :)

Last weekend I put together four gift bags for Vivi's main daycare teachers (on a budget I might add).

I love giving them gifts for most holidays. They are amazing women and do a wonderful job with our little lady.

Since daycare is pretty much costs the same as our monthly mortgage, we don't have a ton of money left over each month. :/

No matter what, I never skip gift giving.  I love giving and always have. It's just my thing.

This year I mixed in some festive DIY items with a couple of winter basics that I love.

1. I created some DIY mason jar snow globes. Click here for the tutorial.

2. I bought some mini candles in a lovely scent, removed the labels, and added coordinating washi tape to fun them up a bit.

3. I bought them my go to lip balm - Vasoline Rosy Lips Lip Therapy. If you haven't tried this you are missing out. So good! I also included another flavored lip balm tube.

I'd guess that I spent about $10 per gift since I used the snow globe materials that I already had on hand.

I plan on giving them more small gifts over the next few weeks. I'm going to print and frame some of my free printables and make them some of my DIY sugar scrub...lots of little thank yous over the month of December. :)

What are some of your go to DIY gift ideas?
